Vita
Jan-Hendrik Linssen, born in 1998 in Baden-Baden, began his musical education in childhood with piano lessons and soon developed a strong interest in improvisation and composing small pieces of his own.
During his studies in music education at the Karlsruhe University of Music, he deepened his skills in piano performance and music theory and discovered his passion for choral music. Since then, drawing on his experience in choral singing and conducting, he has focused his compositional work primarily on vocal music. He has received important artistic and musical impulses from the composers Boris Yoffe and Philippe Mazé.
His works have already been performed by choirs and ensembles such as the Chamber Choir of the Karlsruhe University of Music and the Stuttgart vocal ensemble KOSMA.
